For our client we are looking for: Proposal Cost Estimator

As Proposal Cost Estimator you are responsible to develop comprehensive cost estimates for proposals and projects of various sizes and types and with values up to 150 MM Euro. To ensure cost effective and accurate estimates you play an important role in coordinating proposal activities undertaken by our Process, Engineering, Construction and Procurement Departments. On completion of the estimate you prepare and present the final Price Sheet for approval to senior management. During all stages of the proposal you provide full support to the Sales team in their efforts to achieve success in securing the project.

On a departmental level you actively maintain and improve estimating tools & methods, historic references, benchmarks and databases. Due to the international nature of our business you are always up to date on all essential market information which you analyse for developments and trends.

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in combination with financial affinity
3-6 years experience in a similar function
Fluent in English both verbal and written
Good knowledge of Word and Excel
Accurate, direct in communication and open
Flexible, pro-active, team player
Willing to travel occasionally
