Your Opportunity

As a Senior Developer you will support the stability and continuity of the back office applications.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Delivery of Technical support according to service level agreements on performance, availability and security
- Incident Management: Create impact analysis and finding root causes of incidents by diving into log files, define short-and long term solutions
- Build and implement code using the development street.
- Status report to business owners/application managers
- Pro-active Analysis of system components to optimize performance and tweak SQL queries.Improve on (build) scripts.
- Release and Deployment of bug fixes
- Develop new software and functionality
- Contribute to development of new features or support projects
- Execute and involvement of code review and testing
- Responsible for intake releases from third parties

Your Profile

Experience with maintaining applications for (preferably) commercial processes;
- Able to work both individually as well as in a team
- More than 3 years of experience with J2E and PHP5 building complex AJAX websites. Strong understanding of the MVC concept and seperation of logic.
- Good knowledge with Webservices (REST,SOAP,XML) APIs and Clients.
- Strong analytical skills, professional way of working, pragmatic attitude and strong on delivery.
- You must have experience with Java, PHP5, Ajax, Javacript, jQuery, Smarty Templates, CSS, MVC, Apache, Eclipse, JBoss, JUnit, Servlets, JSP, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Maven, JDBC, SQL, XML, HTML, JTA, Acegi security, JMX JSTL, Object Oriented Programming, Aspect Oriented Programming, Spring MVC and Spring Services.
- Flexible, Pragmatic, hands on mentality

Additional Information
- Educated to Academic or Bachelors degree level in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 3 yrs IT experience with (web) applications, preferrably Intershop (for e-Commerce support group)
- Preferably worked for international consumer electronic company with direct selling relation to high number of end consumers.
