Introduction:
The sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification and the development of the products. The department Immersion & Vacuum Systems (IVS) is charged with specifying, analyzing, designing and testing Fluid and Thermal sub-systems and control solutions. The group Thermal Architecture is concerned with the temperature stability control of critical machine parts, heat removal and global thermal stability of the system. Goal is to provide a thermally stable machine environment therewith supporting the advancing performance and throughput specifications of our tools.
 
Job Mission:
To contribute to the development of products by designing, creating and testing, (sub-) systems within the restrictions imposed by system specifications, costs and planning considerations.ure and is operational within multidisciplinary projects.
 
Job Description:
• Responsible for the thermal architecture of a (sub-)system deduced from high level performance requirements.
• Specifies, analyzes and supports the design, and tests modules in order to control temperature levels and temperature stability in the machine.
• Supports the design by analysis or coordinate that analyses are done.
• Comes up with tests and performs or ensures that these are done by others to verify the specifications.
• Is responsible for the proper documentation of specifications, supporting calculations, and tests.


Profiel:

Education:
Technical University Masters in mechanical engineering, (applied) physics, process technology or similar.
 
Experience:
• Solid theoretical and experimental experience in the field of heat and mass flow.
• Familiar with product development in a concurrent designing process.
• At least 3 years of related work experience
 
Personal skills:
• Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude.
• Good communicational skills and good knowledge of English.
• Able to display a “helicopter”-view.
